The Christ-Mar School Lower School, grades K-5, is a success-oriented program designed to be supportive and challenging, and focus on teaching students how to learn. Our educational philosophy encourages students in their formative years to seek challenges, advance their creativity, and to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Grades K-5 offer students a comprehensive curriculum, which includes English, Math, a Science Lab, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, the Arts, and Research Techniques. Outside of the classroom, students develop a spirit of philanthropy through participation in community outreach projects designed to benefit our local and global communities. We also bring cross age project teams together periodically so that students can work on stimulating and challenging projects with students of other ages.
During their time in our lower school, students are guided in understanding the importance of responsibility, accountability, balance, respect, and persistence as keys for success throughout life.
Christ-Mar School is a unique educational community where the wonder and joy in learning are treasured.
